Well, what an unexpected turn my November and December took! Two days before my scheduled November mini-sessions, my family was in a car accident. It was bad enough for the air bags to deploy and the car to be totaled. However, we are SO THANKFUL that our kids were perfectly safe. The primary injury sustained was to the pinkie on my right hand. I broke the knuckle and needed surgery, pins for 6 weeks, and ongoing physical therapy. While it is "just a pinkie", it proved to be very inconvenient when it came to photography, and I had to cancel everything on the calendar through the end of the year.
I am happy to now report that my bizarrely crooked and stiff little finger is no longer holding me back when it comes to using the camera, and I am now scheduling sessions!
Thank you to everyone who was so understanding with my last minute cancellations and inability to take on capturing your family milestones these past couple months.
